There are various systems of morality, including Nietsche's system in which the "strong" are not subject to the same rules and restrictions as the "weak". Napoleon's statement seems to be an assertion of the same principle, and Macchiavelli seemed to be saying, in his master work "The Prince", that that's the way it works, and, if you want to gain and keep power, you have to ignore the scruples that "lesser" people might have.

I accidently backed over my neighbors 4 month old kitten. I heard the squeal so I got out, noticed that it was my neighbors kitten, panicked and threw it over the fence into my backyard where my dog wasted no time in devouring it. Its been about a week and a half and my neighbor, who is a 68 year old woman, still calls for her kitten all the time. She puts food out for it and still changes its water. Everytime I see my neighbor she asks me, "Have you seen boots?" "No, not today" I reply and continue on with my business. Should I tell her?

There is the firm grasp, extremely firm grasp, fisherman, wet noodle, wet palm, hand jive slaps, knuckles, high five, and then there are the secret organizational hand shakes.

Some people use the left hand (very awkward by the way), those who grab your hand in both of theirs and those who have your right hand in theirs and are holding your right arm in their left hand (to me a very aggressive and suspicious move).

In this movie, a young girl is treated for mutism, (perhaps post-traumatically induced) after (i think) her dad dies, although a lot of her behaviors suggest autism. Her mom and brother try to "unlock" her from her inner world by building a huge staircase hanging from the trees in the woods near their house. This movie was on HBO or STARS about 4-6 years ago or so. Any information on main actors, etc would be great, but the name of the movie would be best!
