because society (fueled by our government)
leads them to believe guns are bad
guns are neither good nor evil.
guns are tools.
it depends on you how they are used.
if women would be willing to carry more,
crimes against them would decrease.

Women aren't men. Most men wouldn't hesitate for a second to kill someone with a gun if they were threatening a loved one. It's simply the way we are built. Most women are not like that at all. They need extended training in order to do that. Most can't bring themselves to even touch a gun.

I think woman more appreciate the value of life. On a more personal note, I am a good shot, but I dont own a gun cause I am too quick tempered. I would be serving a life sentense by now!

I am not afraid. I own a gun and we have several of them in our house at all times. I just applied for my carrying permit so that I can start keeping my 9mm with me at all times.

Women are not usually exposed to guns. Thus, they have this fear of being shot by themselves. The solution for this is try to look for someone who knows how to handle a gun. Let that person teach you and if you already know how to handle guns, you will overcome this fear of guns.

Because for the most part women are taught to be afraid of guns, and to refrain from any physical altercations.

I'm not and I'm a pretty good shot too. But I don't carry a gun or use it for protection. I only like them for target shooting. I prefer my two large dogs and a ball bat for protection.

Probably because they are loud and scary. I don't own a gun, but am considering buying one. I always did enjoy the practice range.

Count me in hun . I am a sharp shooter when it comes to guns and my Dad was in WW2 so he taught me well !
