because when I was in high school I once tripped, fell, and my face landed in dog sh*t (I still remember the taste), I had the smell for two days.

When i was in college, a hallmate started calling me " Mr. Lawrence", after the David Bowie movie, Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, guess he thought I resembled Bowie(I think all of 2 people saw that movie.). It stuck for some reason, I've had people call me years later and ask for Lawrence, and I hung up on them, because I'd forgotten the nickname, and they'd have to call back.LoL.

I had a chronic allergic sniffle when I was a kid and got the lovely sobriquet of Snuffleupagus.This got shortened to Snuffles. It followed me through elementary and junior high. I lost it after I got to high school (or so I thought) but a friend found it so hysterical that she signed my yearbook and wrote a sweet little letter to Snuffles.
