Did Professor X switch bodies before dying?

The final scene was in the hospital room, and the voice was that of Prof X, so the implication is that he did switch bodies. Also, don't you think that Magneto was finally able to manipulate one of the metal chess pieces? If the loss of powers is temporary, does that mean Rogue will gain hers back? I think so. And Mystique as well.

My husband and I stayed after, and yes, we think that he switched with the guy in the hospital. Remember, earlier in the movie he was asking his students about the man in the hospital... whether or not it would be ethical to put someone else's functioning brain into a person's functioning body who no longer had use of their brain? Then, after the credits, suddenly the guy in the hospital has EKG waves that are registering brain waves again. If Jean Gray could become the Phoenix, then certainly Professor X has the cognitive ability to switch bodies.

That's the whole point of that at the end. To keep you guessing. It sounded as if Professor X was in the other person, and the nurse/doctor (couldn't tell which) thought it was him... Only way to know would be to ask the writer/director.

I think he did switch bodies. Why else would they have that scene. Its not like they would randomly put in a pointless scene after the credits.

at first i wasnt going to stay until my friends told me there is a "special scene" so we waited for the whole credit to go by juz to see the nurse talking to a patient which we all think he's prof. X
