I would have to recommend a munchkin cat. I'm not kidding, they are specifically (mutated) and bred to be short legged in the front only. They are smart, playfull, loving and great with kids, plus a great show cat. I would also recommend an Egyptian Mau for the same reasons, additionally, if you're into the unique these breeds are indeed that.

My favorite cat breeds are the munchkin and the persian. I like the munchkin because they are a mixed breed of many others I believe, they're fluffy, small and colorful (at least for a cat). I like persians because they are fluffy and white.

i dont have a favorite breed i like all animals they all have there own little ways of doing stuff no 2 animals are the same no matter what the color or breed

all cats are great, but when my husband and I decided to get another cat(4th) he really wanted a persian. I agreed as long as we could get the ones that are "doll faced' not the extremely messed us faced ones..lol...she is now 8 months old and the cutest most lovable cat ever!!!! our 5th cat will be another persian! They have a lot of fur...but a lot of love!!

I love black and white cats especially those of unknown parentage as no two look exactly alike and generally have quiet but loyal personalities.
until a year ago we had 3 such gentlemen live with us (one passed away a year ago) and were wonderful to live with even tho they had a (human) baby to contend with at one point

Norwegian Forest Cats. They're incredibly beautiful.
And, gene_frequency, yes, there are male calico cats. They're rare. Just thought I'd point that out.

Calico! The 3 color cat! Did you know that Calico are always female? That's what I heard anyway.

Siamese they are more dog like than other cats . I like the long lanky look of them plus they are very intelligent.they make a good watch dog.
