i have scoliosis and my spine is bent to the right. it shows from the x ray that i took a few days ago that the angle is 58 degrees! yes i know thats terrible and i will probably need surgery.i might go to canada or paris to do it if needed. they said i should try the braces first to see if they can fix it since my bones are apparently still soft so hopefully that will work... but just in case i need the surgery can someone please tell me what happens... how they fix it and i know they use metal rods to straighten it but they take it off later right? umm does it leave marks and it is very likely to be successful right? someone please please reply. Thanks

Transferring Video Clips To Imac?
I have a JVC MG20 HDD camcorder and i need help successfully transferring and playing on my imac. I have managed to transfer to my hard disk as per the mac imovie help list but when i drag a file to imovie, i get this error message."The file could not be imported: The file “Macintosh HD/MOV00E.MOD” can’t be imported; QuickTime couldn’t parse it: -2048" I have tried changing it to .Mov as someone suggested but still no joy!! ANY TIPS????

I have a girlfriend who's first boyfriend was abusive and controlling. So by no stretch of the mind shes pretty cynical towards relationships and "doesn't like" dating (she does she's just still bitter). So she insinuates to me that she wants to break up/take a break, so I go ahead and tell her we should. She thanks me for being understandable and starts acting like she did before we dated (giving me the "look", flirting, showing alot of interest, etc.). I figured I should give her time to think things out, be her friend. Recently she started acting even more distant and today we had plans but she never answered her phone (of which I called only twice). So it's like total abandonment. Look I know it's probably over so you don't need to tell me that, it already bugs me. Im just looking for some explanation for all this (no I wasn't needy or anything like that. She was happy.)

More weeks pass and every night simon begins to notice the sheep looking more and more attractive, he decides to make a move and put his arm around the sheep. The sheepdog instantly gets up and starts barking at Simon, trying to protect the sheep. Annoyed Simon walks off in a huff.
The next day a beautifull woman is shipwrecked on the island, she is soon introduced to the nightly ritual of watching the sun set.
simon decides to make a move, He puts his arm around the woman and says " Hey baby, take the dog for a walk for me!"
