happens all the time especially to those who order over the phone.

You don't have to actually do something to a worker to make them hide and do something bad to your food. That person may just get pleasure from doing it.

I don't think anyone actually know what they are talking about.
Most of these people hide and do these thing so would can you say you think most food workers don't do nasty things.
i could be wrong and so could you remeber that the next thime you eat out because you are too lazy to cook. Some guy could be putting his boogers in to your food. simply because he enjoys doing it.

That might be true, but if you're going to be afraid of any little risky thing out there in the big world you're going to have a very boring life.

lol...i know people who have done NASTY stuff to peoples food, but i usually eat at places that i either know the owner or most of the workers so i know my food wont get f**ked w/. or if a place has a really good reputation i might try it. i dont go out to eat alot cause i like things prepared a certain way, and by me. but 1 of the few restaurants i like has a full glass wall separating the dinning area and the kitchen so u can see it all, and their food is very good and the service is great but that wall cements it for me lol

I've been a professional cook for 20 years, and have never seen it happen. Most line cooks take alot of pride in their skills, and really , would never even think about it. Plus, you generally work in such close proximity to the other cooks, that someone else would see, and put a stop to it, if another cook ever did anything disgusting like that.

I really don't think it happens as much as you think. Usually people who work in resturants are pretty good about those type of things. I think it's more of an idle threat or a way for the foodworker to blow off some steam. I've worked in a resturant for over 6 years and have never seen it happen.

Cause I think that although everyone talks about it all the time, it rarely happens. I worked in many fast food joints and neither I nor anyone I knew ever felt the urge to do that to anyone's food.

B/c it's still easier than cooking your own food. Besides, the odds of that happening are very slim. You usually have to be a jerk for someone to be that cruel to you.

Hey you know if your courteous to your server they will never do anything. At least as long as its a real restaurant and not fast food or something. All the servers i know say they dont do anything unless the customer is rude.

because there are worse things than something bad happening to your food. plus the odds are greater that you won't go into a restraunt (like the one in "Waiting")that does things like that. also, because most people conform to health codes.

maybe with the hope that not every restaurant employee is mad at the world and looking for ways to take it out on total strangers...?
