Everywhere I look, people are complaining about how they feel, how their emotions have been unbalanced by the daily grind...I'm beginning to think that feelings are just a way for people to justify their inability to cope with a changing world.
But that might be a little too cynical for modern American society.

Considering that he was taunted,probably racially, and that he has an unblemished past,and this was his last game,and hes one of the worlds greatest players,and millions of youngsters look up to him,should he not maybe have been fined privately?Or should Materazzi not have also gotten red?

I saw the seaon finale....and I was like omg...now i have to wait all summer long before i find out what the hell happens to desmond, what was up with the very last scence where they call demonds lover on the phone cuz they found "it".....what happens to kate, jack, and hurley, is mr eko alive, is locke alive, IS DESMOND ALIVE???? what was that violet light....why 108 minutes (the evil #'s 4,8,15,16,23,42 add up to 108)....whats up with those numbers,,,,....everything....i was so mad, and upset, and kinda depressed after the season finale....they said they would answer all the questions...they so didnt...what is that black smog, why was libby in the same clinic as hurley, etc....and of course there are a ton more questions....and wow...ive written a lot....so now ill let you kind ppl say whatever yu want to say about this....ladedada

Looking for a child-sized folding cardtable that I can buy within the next couple days in a store here in my native state of Connecticut. I have tried Toys R Us before with no luck. I HAVE found such a set at Target, but not now, it seems to be a seasonal thing (they said try at Thanksgiving time!). I think I have also seen at CVS, but again not now. Any ideas anyone???

See, I've been all over this question for years now, and i've done everything, from letting the girl i dearly loved go, to teaching computers to mentally retarded children in spite of heavy oppsition claimng the futility of my action. All this i did in search of that one completely selfless deed, which I'm afraid I have still not found. Nothing we do, it seems, is totally, completely selfless. Think about it. You can give everything you own to a homeless person but that would leave you with a feeling of greatness and ego, and even if it doesn't it would definitely bring you inner-peace. I need to know that one deed that asolutely free of self, in which one does not gain anything, nothing at all. Can anyone answer?

Do you think it is fair for schools to only teach the students to pass the standardized tests? This was started up as I was finishing high school. I've noticed that a lot of my fellow college students aren't ready for the classes because they don't have the basis forthe materials we are studying. What exactly is the impotance of the standardized test?

I’ve been thinking about this for several years now...especially with the internet becoming such a main stream form of communication. Was the Tower destroyed because of Man’s desire or because of the result of a combined effort on the part of mankind to live as one? For all you scholars I know this question is basic but I wanted to convey the meaning in a simple form. Our language and cultural barriers are being broken again should be wry? My Yahoo Avatar looks very similar to the way I do in real life -- I have thin lips, a broad nose, and spiked hair and am not obese, anorexic, super-muscular, dwarfed, or a giant. However, because they only have 4 hair colors, I chose black because my hair is so dark brown that it's almost black -- especially with all that gel. The reason for my dark coloration and white-sounding name is because my father is Irish (his mother was Italian) while my mother is mostly Hispanic. However, despite this great mixture, they have always defined me as "white, non-hispanic" on every ID card they've ever written for me -- it's on my birth certificate like that despite my ability to get really dark in the sun. So what race am I really in if I have dark brown hair and eyes with a skin that tans pretty easily? What SHOULD they have put on my registration forms in K-12?
