Now guys, i want to pick up something ive been haring on this board for a while now. Alot of Fundamentalists talk about 'Intelligent Design' and God leading Evolution, but surely this is just a desperate attempt for Religion, in this case Christianity, to try and make itself seem viable?
All im seeing is Religion latching on to scientific ideas in what looks like a last ditch, quite pathetic, attempt to salvage some sort of credibility.

And Yes, im an Atheist. So please dont reply in Chapter and Verse, its non-sensical and about as good as quoting Harry Potter.

When it comes to "sin", is it really possible to be 100% pure?

I think the big problem when it comes to sin is that most of us arent able to forgive ourselves.. but if we believe in God/Jesus, whoever your God is, do you think THEY hold a grudge?

I know like most people I had regrets, and I would think that I am a horrible person who is unworthy of anything good in my life, and I should be punished for everything I did. Is that really any way to live? Wouldn't life be more pleasant if we could just forgive ourselves for our mistakes, and not judge so harshly?

I was wondering what kind of bag you guys/gals use to carry all your equipments. I need a roller bag or roller case that would hold Everything including one tank. I prefer a hard case that I can lock. The ability to carry a tank on the roller bag/case is highly preferred. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

of course, everyone (well, almost) would say "these are just the square-numbers; the next one is 36".

but as a mathematician you know that every number sequence
a_1, a_2, a_3, a_4, a_5, ...
has a infinite number of functions f which satisfy
f(1)=a_1, f(2)=a_2, f(3)=a_3, f(4)=a_4, f(5)=a_5. the values f(6) can be different as well. you could even conclude, that every number x is a continuation of the sequence, because you could find a function satisfying f(6)=x.

therefore there is not a "single" correct answer to number sequences.

now you could say: "you should always find the easiest/most simple function of all these". but what do you define as simple?

as a mathematician you would say "its very easy to calculate _polynomials_ to solve number sequences" (you just have to solve a system of linear equations).

so the main question is: how should you evalue/rate possible solutions to number sequences? or should you rather rate the corresponding function found?

clearly there has to be something done about this. That cruelty to animals is not acceptable. People should speak out. I am so completly disgusted about our justice system. But then again the justice only stands for corrupt. I hope they can pass a bill about the misdemeanor to a felony. People deserve to do at least a yr. over something that horrific.
