Does anyone know of any good history novels that take place in the civil war era (or around that time). I'm looking for something written in narrative format and thats not 'too deep'. I recently read Manhunt by James L. Swanson and really enjoyed it. Thanks a lot

Atheists say to Christians what proof of is there of your God? And the Christians says you can't prove he doesn't exist. But Christians apply this same logic that the atheist does, the presumption of atheism, to all other Gods,

all other religous people could respond the same to the Christian, prove our God(s) don't exist, and since you can't . . . .

and round and round religious goes.

I wonder how many people are going to answer and tell me I need Jesus, to which I respond with the presumption of atheism, prove it please.

My manager did not notify HR when I went on medical leave, so payroll continued to cut regular paychecks and deposit them into my 401k and bank accounts.
Well, I quit my job, and then HR started harassing me about paying the company back. So I wrote them a check for the wages paid me during my leave.
Two months later, I get a letter from the company, saying I owe them for what they put into my 401k, including the company match amount. WHY?
If I withdraw that money, I have to pay a penalty. If I take the money from my personal account, then it's like they're forcing me to make 401k contributions.
Can they legally force me to do this?

Actually 6 positives and they are the strips off the internet. Digital is giving me negatives tho, but i just started getting + 2 days ago.
Is this a pg symptom btw, everytime you eat something it feel like the flu is coming on like it almost makes you feel like vomiting not enough to quit eating it but enough to only have a little?

Occasionally my two boys 7 and 9 get out of control. They start taunting each other and get louder and more aggressive with each other. They feed off each other's energy and usually one of them ends up getting hurt or upset. At these times they do not listen to me an start talking over me, saying, "It wasn't me!" or "He pushed me first and hurt me." and so on. Any suggestions as to how I can redirect their energy into more positive forms of play. I do not believe in hitting.

Oh my ..my heart HURTS!? if u tell someone u love goodbye, and their reply was.."dont curse at me" I dont know why I f*ck with you???? I shouldnt talk to you anymore.." (which no cursing happened) wouldnt u take that as him being angry because I said good-bye..
