Why is it that African Americans can be involved with things such as BET(Black Entertainment Television), and Black History month and it's ok but if someone were to develop a white history month or white entertainment television it would be racist. I do believe very strongly that racism exists today. Oppression is a vile, horrible thing but by having soley Black events and businesses etc. aren't African American people promoting differences and segregation instead of trying to promote that people of any race are equal? Isn't that the idea of ending racism? I have a Black friend that I have had this discussion with and she says I'm over simplifing things, but does it really have to be so complicated? If African Americans (or any other race) wan't to end racism it just doesn't make sense to me that they would promote segregation by segregating themselves.
I do not intend to offend anyone with this question and I apologize if my language isn't politically correct

im trying to decide between pharmacy or psycholoy.. the thing is both would be a pretty kewl job but im taking chemistry now and its not my favorite, but i find it challenging. i havent taken a psycholgy class yet im goin to do that next year but i think bout how it would be in the future.. i mean i like helping people but idk if listening to peoples problems everyday will affect me b/c im kinda sensitive. so im not sure how to pick between the two?

I know the predictable evolutionist response already, but maybe someone will surprise me.

But my point is that if we are nothing more than animals, who is a "government" to tell me to abide by laws? Why am I accountable to anyone but the supposedly unguided process that made me, starting with lightning hitting some soupy mess and rocks? Why can't I, like any other animal, do as I please without repercussions?

Yes I know, there are repercussions. Like if an animal attacks a cub of a family of different animals, the family might attack it back. Fine. But they won't put that original attacking animal behind bars and sentence them. It's the old "survival of the fittest" right? Who's bigger and stronger, and best suited to survive.

(here's where liberals come with insults of how stupid this is, without giving any real answer and also attack this as "the best you creationists can do", when in fact it's not. It's just an entry level exercise in thinking, not a "winner" argument.)
