I am getting my 1st laptop tonight. I have dsl through verizon...i am going to keep my desktop connected and want connect my laptop as well. Do I need to buy a router? Can I use my dsl on the laptop without having to change providers for internet??? I am very clue less. If I buy a router and hook that to my modem then hook both puters into the router will they work will that work?

Question is asked because, Japan wanted nothing to do with a war after the (2) 2 bombs were dropped. I feel that if we stop fighting a war, based on morality against a foe that has none, and start putting they'er women and children in body bags, that this might end very quickly. Ever heard of low level Nuke warhead ? Think if we just leveled Iraq, with one, then let Syria, Iran, North Korea and the rest of the enemy know we are actually serious about "ALL MEANS" including these weapons, that the tide would change in a heartbeat. How about sailing a rocket over japan to N. Korea and letting it drop 100 miles or so off the coast ? Think that would get attention ? There is enough weapons on (1) one of the (7) seven aircraft carriers to end this war in less then a week. Thank God I am not President.

a week ago he wrote me a txt telling me he was so happy that we were finally over and that he is happy with his new g/f. Then he went on about how he was upset we were not friends at first and now he is over it. then today he calls me, a week after his rude txt, and asks me that if anyone calls looking for him, that his phone is acting up and to keep trying his number, i am so confused. Is that his way of talking to me or do u think that he is telling the truth, because i never responded to his txt or email b/c i was so hurt by all the mean things he said. i am confused please tell me what this means!

My ex and i used to be involved in gangs when we were younger about 10 yrs ago and his dad still kinda looks OG even though we have a great relationship with our son communication wise he has sat down with his dad and his dad has told him the negative effects it has had on his life and how many friends and family we have lost to gang rivalry I am afraid he will try it because he idolizes his dad . what do u guys think?
