How can we get more people to be aware of Global Warming but not scare the hell out of them?

global warming is nothing more than a cycle of the earth that goes between warming and glacation....we are nearing the height of the warming period before getting colder and reverting to another ice age....it is completely natural and there is no way to get around it......there is nothing to be alarmed about....on the other hand, it is just common sense to not mess up your backyard any more than necessary, which means recycle, dont waste and conserve.....

by not using buzz-words and scare mongering....

heres a thing.....weather moves in patterns...they come around and around sometimes it takes hundreds of years (think ice ages)

now weather recording has been around a lot less than the planet.....so while yes it may seem warmer/colder at some points but if we had the stats from the beginning of time wed see it prob happened before and

THERE IS NO CAUSE FOR ALARM!

global warming as the media and some 'experts' would have you believe is a myth...sure it may warm us up one or two degrees but IT IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD

no matter what al gore tells you ~ rem when the gore family predicted the decline of western civilisation through song lyrics ? (see those parental warning labels? thats the gores for you) and maybe its just me but everything seems fine no matter how many times i hear the F word in a song...so he made a lil movie...doesnt scare me...crossing the street without looking now THAT is scary!

speak to a geography student or professor to find out the real story on this and they will tell you the truth

Were you asking this question twenty, or even ten, years ago it would have been simple to answer. However, the way things are progressing today, it seems impossible to do so without 'scare the hell' out of the world. In fact, it seems to be the only course of action at this point. No one seems willing to listen if they are told that 'one day' something 'bad' will happen. They say 'Well, if everyone else is doing something, I don't have to', or 'That won't happen while I'm alive, why should I worry?' The fact of the matter is that we all have to do something about it. If the only way to make the less naturally-aware do their part is to 'scare the hell out of them,' then so be it. We need to save this planet, whether we're alive to reap the benefits or not.

To see Al Gore's movie & check the statistics on the increase of skin cancers, the decrease in rainfall, and the increase in hot days globally.
