It's just a curiosity question, I'm not trying to sound race obsessed or anything, I'm just interested in genetics. I get pretty tired of people asking me, "are you part white?" just because I have straight hair. I have a little bit of Apache and Sioux on my mom's side but that's not where my straight hair is coming from because my dad's side is all black (as far back as he can trace) and my aunt from his side has straight hair too. I'm just wondering, does straight hair necessarily mean a person can't be all black? Just because the straight hair phenotype is less common in the black gene pool doesn't mean it still can't happen, right?
