It depends on you relationship with him. If it's a good one then he will value your opinion. If you have a "rocky" relationship then you might have to slip a few hints to him here and there, because if you are to up front then he might get mad and rebel.

A good way is to keep your mouth shut, Mom. The more you bad-mouth the girl, the longer he will hang on. Give him so slack and he'll find out soon enough what she is really like.
