It depends on what you mean. Are you looking for a start to a school project or scholarly thing? If so, find a point of interest & go after it with research.

You could look at a pattern of images (ex. the sun, leaves, fortune) in the poems of a particular author. You could investigate the habits of tribal Brazillians. You could explore the relationship between homelessness and city planning. It just depends on your area of interest!

There's so much to learn. A good way to start an investigation might be to find a reference librarian at your local library and tell the librarian that you are interested in a topic. Perhaps they can help you find resources to learn more. This may actually work better if you've already thought of a topic and looked up a little info online, though.

Happy investigating!
