depending on how long she will be gone- postcards and stamps. There are lots of cute ones out there that already typed up so all she would need to do is check the sentence that fits her mood and then send it. Address them first, so she won't need to have an address book.-

I think junk food would be great, I don't think too many campers have access to that kind of stuff. Send candy and chocolate chip cookies.
