I'm doing AQA modular Physics Module 6, and we've learnt how to predict the direction of the movement of a wire in a magnetic field when a current is passed through it, and the direction of the current in a wire passed through a magnetic field, but not how a dynamo works.
Any information on a dynamo would be helpful - but please keep answers to a 'GCSE Higher Triple Science' standard - I'm not that good!
I've got exams on the 26th and I'm aiming for an A* and I'm so close! Thanks so much!!!

I have a friend who will be turning 32 soon, he gave me some terribly embarassing gifts for my birthday AT WORK IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. I want some inexpensive (like under 35-40 dollars) gag gift ideas, and where can I buy them? I was thinking something like "Obese naked women novelty playing cards" but I can't find any online. Traditional round sided barrels are difficult to make, but I once saw a website with a very good method for making one from wooden plank using a box shape with kerfed ends. I would really like to find good instructions for this again. Any ideas?

I'm a scot, and it appears that england are playing marginally better in successive games. Are they building up and saving the best for last? There was a man who said there were millions of invisible people. He said they were all around us and that they were doing all kinds of things. He said there were some laughing, some crying, some running, some walking. He said there were some arguing and some were finally getting things worked out.
