Excuse me for giggling... "semen" !!! I agree with you about everything else. These things happen... England is being called the Team of Luck of this World cup. WE're still in because we benefitted from an own goal, and because we have only faced very weak teams. Just look who the other countries are facing... Brazil/Ghana...Spain/France...Portugal/Holland...Argentina/Mexico...Italy/Australia... Switzerland/Ukraine and ENGLAND/ECUADOR.... so, we are lucky !! Who has ever complained about having luck ? I don't really care if we win the World Cup purely by being lucky !! I* say our guys did... OK (it is our manager I don't think much of). Next match it will be either against Portugal or Holland. Let's hope for Holland because Portugal will tear us apart... our performances have not been exactly superb, right ?

The fact here is that the World Cup has just started for England to face the difficult matches ,countries like Holland Italy or Argentina have already faced world class opponents, and proved themselves. England has only proved to be an average team.

I heard a few years ago that when a match was about to start the England Team came on the pitch, And put semen in goal.

Think it must have affected them,
As apparently they had a sticky game

You have to remember that:--

1) It was 30 deg C in the stadium, which means hot and they have been running around, risking heat exhaustion.

2) England is now down to one striker (Rooney), who have just barely completely physio treament for his ankle.

Looks like England has a good strong midfield.

They would need to revise tactics for taking the ball from midfield to shot into goal. They can learn from how the opponents defend their goal. They probably know that, it would not be good for me to teach my grandmother how to suck eggs.

And please spell (David) Seaman properly!!

I'm sure England will step up in next game against (hopefully) Portugal. All in all, England did enough to go through and they can do much better. Unfortunatelly its been like this with a number of top teams, including my own, Portugal.
Go Portugal!!!

well, i dont think Sven did good by changing the players, it was the first knockout game and he goes and puts Crouch on the bench!

sure they have been disappointing, but they have managed to do enough each game to get the desired result, and I'm sure it will continue.
