OK if a goalkeeper is sent off then another player has to be substituted to bring in a goalie, if all 3 substitutions have been made then one of the players has to turn into a goalie imagine that ! But the team plays 10 men.
Goalkeepers can have red card for-
1 Commiting a bad foul
2 Handling the ball outside penalty box.

He is replaced by a reserve goalkeeper, and another player must leave the field to allow for the substitution. The team, obviously, plays with ten men.

P.S.:
> Whiteoleander, of course a goalkeeper can get a red card. Have you already forgotten Arsenal vs. Barcelona, when Lehman was sent off?
> And, Francis, the coach CANNOT keep his goalkeeper in play; the man has to come off.

No, they take out other player and let in a goalkeeper.
In case there can't be any more changes, they would probably put one of the other players that are playing already as the goalkeeper. In any case, they have one less player.
It's highly unlikely they let the net alone.

A DISASTER, that's what... !! He goes out !! I believe the manager has a right to keep him in but must take another player off... The real punishment is that the team will be one down... less one player
