Your Old Testament verses. Meaning what? They mean NOTHING.

2 John 1:10 and Romans 16:17. You have got the general concept correct. This is true. Hands down.

2 John 1:10
10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

Romans 16:17
17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

Proverbs Ch. 22 vs 23-24-25

23) For the LORD will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.

24) Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:

25) Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.

I've already answered your root query about the OT.

For the NT, remember, Jesus was dealing with neophytes. These were mostly illiterate, poor people whose ideas on just about anything were primitive at best.

When you're just starting out in a subject, it's easier to become well-grounded in it if you don't try to do it all at once or in the midst of those who defy your learning. His words were meant to prevent His followers from being overwhelmed in their new way until they had solidified their own faith. Then and only then could they be expected to go out and help others to that faith without being washed overboard, as it were, by others' doubts and ignorance.

Hmmm, I begin to wonder just how much your queries reflect a desire to know and how much reflect a hatred of what you THINK you know and how much reflect your disdain of anyone who won't bow to whatever YOU'VE decided is truth.

Yes, they were very stick that within the Hewbrew people no one was to worship any other God, no one was to have a different religion than that of the one true God.

And within the new testement, it was taught and easy to prove today that if you are a christain, you don't need non christian friends, since they will make you leave the correct path.

And yes, Chrsitians should just be married to Chrsitians, and only have christians friends

its all in translation...

the word "kill" comes from the arabic "prugeur" which means to seperate from

so .. what its saying is to not be involved with people who will corrupt you and people who are pretty much bad for you to be around.

Its a good idea to consult at least 3 different translations of the Bible when you have questions, because most of the time, its just a matter of translation since the Bible itself wasnt written in English

Danger- Warning - No where in the bible do these phrases appear. Research you're self. I have posted many phrases from the Bible and the Qu'ran on this sight giving chapter and verse so you can check not only the validity but the context for which they were written.

Of course you have forgotten the most important commands that Jesus taught us.

Matthew 22
36"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Also cited in Mark 12 and Luke 10

Matthew 28 (The Great Commision)
19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Regarding the killing of others:

John 8
2At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 4and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" 6They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.

But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." 8Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.

9At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"

11"No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."

We should not participate in the acts of defilement towards God with others, nor should we advocate them. For this reason it may be neccessary to avoid such people, so that you do not lead any others away from God. For when you neither condone or condemn an act of sin you are really passively condoning it by allowing it and not stopping it.

God contradicts himself. A lot. Thou shalt not kill. A commandment. Jesus said love thy neighbor as thou self. Jesus preached coexistence with non christians through the good samaritan story. that is pretty weird though...

Amazing. And they point fingers at Islam for following this very thing. So, when they don't follow it, are they actually sinning?

), "We believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Yaqoob (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat (the twelve sons of Yaqoob (Jacob)), and that which has been given to Moosa (Moses) and Iesa (jesus), and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islam
Remember) when the angels said: "O Maryam (Mary)! Verily, Allah gives you the glad tidings of a Word ("Be!" - and he was! i.e. Iesa (jesus) the son of Maryam (Mary)) from Him, his name will be the Messiah Iesa (jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), held in honour in this world and in the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are near to Allah."

And He (Allah) will teach him (Iesa (jesus)) the Book and Al-Hikmah (i.e. the Sunnah, the faultless speech of the Prophets, wisdom, etc.), (and) the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel

Verily, the likeness of Iesa (jesus) before Allah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: "Be!" - and he was

The Messiah (Iesa (jesus)), son of Maryam (Mary), was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother (Maryam (Mary)) was a Siddiqah (i.e. she believed in the words of Allah and His Books (see Verse 66:12)). They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while Allah does not eat). Look how We make the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them, yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth

And (remember) when Iesa (jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), said: "O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allah unto you confirming the Taurat ((Torah) which came) before me, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmed . But when he (Ahmed i.e. Muhammad SAW) came to them with clear proofs, they said: "This is plain magic."
