both computers have xp, and ethernet nics but when i plug the cable in it still says network cable is unplugged. i know both the nics are working properly and all the drivers are as well. i dont know if there is any setting i have to change besides the ics. any help would be much appreciated..

I love this guy. Its 3 years now that we love. He has let his parents know about us. But in my place religion matters alot. Hence, there were severe problems and his parents refused to accept me. He is not ready to marry me if his parents dont agree. He is protective, caring, calls every alternate day,remembers what I dress and say, repeatedly says he likes my character and loves me. But something is missing is what my gut feeling says.Coz, there are some serious flaws in spite of his words, like saying a no to me because he needs to do something back for his parents inspite of me letting to sacrifice my culture and religion for him, not prefering our relation to be known to his friends or work circle, sometimes seems distant when with me.While I say my close friends who he is, he stays in orkut with a bold "single" written in his relation status. Why don't prisoners work in fields and do the jobs that they say american's don't want? Instead of the "chain gangs" cleaning up the side of the highways (which is a good thing) they should be doing the low-wage jobs.

I'm having my bunion and hammer toe corrected this week. The bunion doesn't give me much pain now - it used to but now it just looks really awful. I'm really self conscious about it. My hammer toe though is a different matter. I find it excruciating some times but very painful always. If I could cut my foot off I would do when the pain is really bad. I can't wait to get it seen to so I can walk properly, be pain free and be able to buy shoes & sandals which fit properly. I'm naturally a little anxious about having them corrected and wondered if anyone has gone through this already and what sort of level of pain I can expect, especially after surgery. Is it bearable? I have quite a high pain threshold, so maybe it will be OK for me. Has anyone got any info to share with me please?

I am not an Ecclestone fan but one thing I know he does well is television coverage of the grands prix. I watched the Canadian GP and the director seemed to miss everything.

I want to ask Mr. Ecclestone to take over tv coverage of all the grands prix! I do not know who his director is but the coverage is not biased in favour of the person leading the race or the local driver. The cameras concentrate on the lower placing races, where drivers are really trying. That way, races seem to be very exciting as we see overtaking! It also means lower teams get their TV time as well. (If this race was an Ecclestone one, then the director was not up to the usual standard!)

I have looked on the web and his company does not have a website - does anyone have an email address as I feel credit should go where it is due!

Of course, some of you may totally disagree with me about the coverage - your comments would also be welcome!

It stopped working for no reason.I flip the switch and hear a buzzing sound, but it is not chopping.Also my drain is not working well.It is draining very slowly.I stuck my hand in to see if something was blocking it and there is nothing there.I did not stick anything weird down there, so I don't know what is wrong.

In conclusion I shall end this list with a verse that should keep the pro lifers in check. It is Romans 13: 1-7

“Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which god has established. The authorities that exist have been established by god. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what god has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he shall commend you. For he is god’s servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is god’s servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. There fore it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience.

This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are god’s servants, who give their full time to governing. Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes, if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.”

Clearly it is the job of Christians to obey the laws, and the laws of this country clearly state that abortion is legal. So too should Christians respect and honor that law. God commands them to NOT disobey, which entails attempting to get the law overturned. If god wanted abortion to be illegal he wouldn’t have appointed authorities to make it legal.
