Baked is so much better for you...but fried is so good.

I love fried chicken but I stick with the baked ones as they are more healthy.

Baked is good for your health. But good fried chicken taste so good. KFC or home made. Wish I knew someone that would make me some good home made.

Fried Chicken is the best, here in the south, we soak it in buttermilk, and I prefer to steam fry it with the lid on, and it is oh so good, with cornbread and turnip greens!

baked...... can get best coatin on it an it stays on.. flour,corn meal.chives,parsley flakes,garlic powder, onion poder, fresh ground pepper, seasoned salt,sage, poultry seasoning,celery flakes,......... soak chicken pieces in buttermilk overnite[ add salt an pepper to the milk].. jus befer cookin drain chicken well.... add all dry stuff to lg zip baggie.... put 1 or 2 pieces at a time in bag coat well place in single layer in bakin dish that had been sprayed with cookin spray.... bake at 375 fer 45-55 min.... check with meat thermomiter.it should read 160.......i always make extra flour mixture an use it to make great gravy....... with pan drippings... make fresh biscuts too....... yummy

I like fried better but baked is better if you are watching calories. both are good.

fried like i do my wings
flour corn meal and table spoon garlic powder qtr teaspoon cheyenne pepper.re-hydrated onion flakes (2tbl spoons of flakes in a qtr cup hot wtr soak till re-hydrated(theres a diff)) add flakes and water ,bout qtr cup after re-hydration also 4 cloves fresh garlic crushed and chopped fine per 4 pounds chicken......shake in zip lock bag till evenly coated(recipe for friends only )
fry in raut iron frying pan with oil (1/3 way up) and just about to smoke or sizzles water
watch for splatters (it will splatter) note: do not cover!
