I know that they have added winglets to some private aircraft, Airbus airplanes, and some newer 737s to increase a plane's range capabilities but why don't they add winglets to every plane so every plane can fly further?

This is something that I just would like to know about, since that most Christians think it to be a Pagan fairy tail. If Atlantis as Plato described it was real; what would that mean to the Christians here?

I do not mean any offense by this question, but being a former Christian I find it a bit perplexing to think that if it is/was real it would re-write history as we know it. And since the story of Atlantis is not in any way a re-telling of the flood story: How would the Three Great Religions (Christianity, Jewdisim [sorry if I am missspelling this], and Islam) of the world take its discovery?

i mean honestly. why do people think it is okay to do that. that is very childish and immature. if you want to be heard without judgement or ridicule, why would you do it to others. the golden rule which we all learned in kindergarten still applies. treat others as you wish to be treated. maybe we would be in a better situation as a people. dont hat e someone because they are different. karma is real. what you put out, you get back, so watch it!!!!

She'll use the neighbors yard and the backyard is definetly a no no for sure. We know that the previous owner did have a dog and 2 cats. But the carpets have been shampoed, etc I don't know what else to do with her. we' have sprayed the yard with bug repellents, weed repellents. She does do good and won't go in the house. Any help will be usefull. Thx

on January 21, 1977. president Jimmy Carter pardened the draft dodgers who went to live in Canada rather than obay their draft orders during the Viet Nam war those who in my opnion were a bunch of cowards and helped prolong the war.Should draft dogers be punished for turning their backs on their country rather then standing up for what they believe in?

Hello;
We all have heard of listening to music and it's various impacts. Such as:
- Listening to classical music while you study, promotes learning?!
- Don't listen to any music while you study, it causes you to loose concentration?!
etc... does anyone have a scientific answer as to:
- Listening to music promotes learning?
- Does this apply to certain age group?
- Does this apply to certain type of music, such as Classical
- If you say classical, can you narrow it down since classical has a fairly wide spectrum.

If yahoo answers was around 500 years ago, I would be banging at my keyboard the following:

What happens to fundamentalist Christianity when it is accepted in science that there is a heliocentric solar system.

Would there have been people who would have banged away no the bible says x, y, and z about the Earth is in the center, and there are loopholes to the Theory of Heliocentric solar system?

Are there any fundamentalist Christians who believe as they did 500 years ago, that the Earth is the center of the solar system?

In 500 years, in 2506, will there still be Christians who believe the literal Adam and Eve?

Ok so all my freinds keep telling me that this guy likes me. Constantly they r saying will u go out with him or he likes you a lot do you like him? So the other day I called him just to talk on the phone and he brought sumething up and he asked if my friends were asking if I liked him. So I said yes. Then he said that he told them not to ask me that. So I believed him b/c I thought my firends just wanted me to go out with him. So last night one one of his friends ask me to go out with the guy my firends are saying that likes me. Mine is Grease. We used to watch it all the time. We had a copy when we were little and would watch it over and over and sing ALL the songs. Then it was played on tv, edited. Then about ten years ago I got the DVD, I couldn't believe that our parents let us watch it AND sing the songs!! They're pretty dirty!!
