Hello;
We all have heard of listening to music and it's various impacts. Such as:
- Listening to classical music while you study, promotes learning?!
- Don't listen to any music while you study, it causes you to loose concentration?!
etc... does anyone have a scientific answer as to:
- Listening to music promotes learning?
- Does this apply to certain age group?
- Does this apply to certain type of music, such as Classical
- If you say classical, can you narrow it down since classical has a fairly wide spectrum.

Thanks!

Silence is best, unless listening to music motivates you. Sometimes human beings procrastinate the chores they don't enjoy. So if you enjoy classical music, by all means listen while you study. If you enjoy other music more, listen to the other music. You don't want the music to distract you from your studying, so have the volume on soft.
