i'm attending a gathering of friends tonight and we are each bringing something to drink. i have no idea on what to bring. I figured something smooth, not too strong, and not too fruity...any suggestions???

lemon drop martini

1 1/2 ounces vodka
1/2 ounce Triple Sec
1 teaspoon superfine sugar
3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
Ice cubes
Superfine sugar for dipping
Twisted peel of lemon

The Perfect Margarita (Recipe from Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, New Orleans)
Crushed ice
3 large wedges of lime
2 ounces gold tequila (Cuervo 1800)
1/2 ounce tequila (Cuervo Silver)
1 1/4 ounces Rose's Lime Juice
1/2 ounce triple sec
1 splash orange Curaçao (Grand Marnier)
Put all ingredients except the 3 lime wedges into a shaker.
Squeeze 2 of the lime wedges into the shaker.
SHAKE WELL!
Rim outside of glass only with lime. Salt only the outside of the glass.
Add fresh crushed ice to glass. Strain mixture over ice. Squeeze remaining lime wedge in glass

Vodka and Lemonade has been my favorite lately... the lemonade hides the alcohol taste and is very refreshing (although, very fruity I suspect, but I think the sour of the lemonade balances out the sweet).

Colorado Bulldogs rock!!!! Kaloua (sp?) Cream and a splash of coke for a little zing. Some people put a shot of Vodka in here too, but I prefer to leave it out.

1 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Midori (Melon liqueur)
1 oz. Chambord (Raspberry liqueur)
2 oz. Pineapple Juice

Mix all ingredients well and pour over ice.

Nuts and Berries= Equal parts of chambord, Frangelico and cream. Shake in shaker untill mixed. If done right it tastes just like chocolate milk. It's my favorite drink.
