i agree with you. ridicule is embarassing to say the least and very immature. i prefer that all people extend themselves openly and honestly without causing harm. (verbal or physical) it's a very sad world when others feel the need to express anger or hostility. just because someone is different either physically or mentally doesn't change who they are as living, feeling, breathing human-beings. take care out there.

i think it is because pple r narrow minded and only have one way of thinking. iv'e been through it all my husband is black and we live in a part of the uk where there is hardly no blacks. when we walk along the street we get looks and sly foolish comments it boils my blood but i just have to grip my teeth coz if not id be shouting all day, although sometimes i cant help my selfi agree with u what comes around goes around. i guess pple think that they need to say something if it not right if they havn't grown up with it or something but that is no excuss coz i grew up no no blacks but yet i still love him i soppose its the type of person u are that really counts, if ur open to NEW then u wont have a problem.

People that do this are very insecure, I work with kids, the ones that like to insult, hit, point others deffect are the ones that have so many problems that this is a way to put their anger out.
Every time a kid says to me that I´m ugly or fat, I just look at him and say ¨ à really don´t matter what you say, I love anyway¨ and I shut their mouth.

By nature, people, in general, are conformists. People fear what they don't understand. I have a severly autistic daughter who will never be completely accepted by the society that we all know, but that's okay. I don't hide her from the world because of that. She is someone that THEY will have to see in public ,etc. even if it's not acceptable to them. AND I will fight to the death her right to be among us.

It's very simple really. People ridicule others because they are insecure. They create fear and pain in others in an attempt to make themselves free of fear or pain. It is a stupid way to think, but a human one.

Yea, I hear you. I think being gay is wrong/ not genetic. But everytime I mention it people call me a homophobe or hateful...nothing could be further from the truth. I love people, even if they choose to be gay...etc.

It's because of fear and pain. Hurting people hurt other people.
