Hi I am considering moving to Rockville and if someone can give me a description of it. I think I was told that it was a shady area by a contact of mine but I really wasn't paying attention when he was talking. Thanks!

We are taking our teenage son to Washington DC in April. I'd like to find a rental condo or "suite" hotel that would allows us to have separate sleeping spaces and a small kitchenette. I prefer in the city and/or Georgetown and under $300/night. Any thoughts?

I'm visiting the city this weekend for training, and I'm staying with a friend in D.C. My friend just relocated too, so is uncertain of taking public transit outside of what's needed for work, which is right there in D.C.

I need to get from D.C. to the B'more Convention Center on Saturday, but none of the sites I've looked at (MARC, MTA, WMATA) to get directions have been helpful for this.

PLEASE HELP! Even if you don't have specific directions, but can give me the phone number of the most likely transit system to get me there, this would be extremely helpful.

is it a good idea to drive the inner city of Washington DC to visit museums and historical places? is it easy to find a free parking place or should I park at an outskirt and take public transportation?

Hi all. I just finished school in Boston now I m moving to DC and I am wondering whats a good place to live. I am not into upscale class areas but at the same time not into ghetto areas, you know right in the middle where immigrants and native people live along, you know areas where with some spanish population and the housing is not sky rocketing. My only thing is I am going to be working in Arlington or crystal city in VA so within a metro area would be great. The other thing is a place where sat dishes are allowed.

Thank u

I would like to stay in an upscale, 5-star hotel for my birthday weekend that also includes Spa treatments.

The downside is that my birthday is Feb 16 - right after valentine's which means hotels fill up pretty quickly for guests.

Any one who can make a suggestion I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Caroline

I'm flying into Reagan National for the first time and would like to know a bit more about how long it would take to get from Reagan National to Union Station in NE on a Saturday morning. I've budgeted an hour and forty-five minutes...is that enough time? How convenient and how expensive is the public transport from Reagan National?
Any advice on this would be very much appreciated!

I am considering moving to one of the two cities to live. I do not have any kids, but I do have a large dog to consider. So any information about rentals, things to do, resturants, neighborhoods or anything at all would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has any opinions about near by cities or towns that are also nice I am open to suggestions. I will be working in Brentwood so I would like to keep my travel time under 30 minutes.
