The Metro cops could actually give you a ticket if they caught you. I think it's around $50; can't remember exactly but it happened to a friend of mine so I know it's for real!

Well from the looks of it you probably could break the escalators and that will give metro another reason ot raise the fare so please don't

you could get your clothing caught in the escalator and it could suck you into the crack and you could be stuck there forever
