I would like to stay in an upscale, 5-star hotel for my birthday weekend that also includes Spa treatments.
The downside is that my birthday is Feb 16 - right after valentine's which means hotels fill up pretty quickly for guests.
Any one who can make a suggestion I would appreciate it.

Try the Mandarin Oriental, the Willard, or the Four Seasons Georgetown. All are Five Star hotels with equally impressive spas inside the hotel itself.

I stayed at the Sheridan Suites in Old Town Alexandria. It was great, and is only a couple os minutes away from National Airport.
Lots of great things to do, great food, music, and yes spas.
