In the next few years I am heavily considering moving to Philly when I graduate. Without having to visit Philadelphia inbetween quarters---I am trying to figure out some good places to live that have a young and fun environment (no family subdivisions).
I have been to Philadelphia oncec before, for only a week, but it's one of the best cities in the US that I have visited. So, will you please help me?

Ok I am planning on visiting this city around winter time. If I get into upenn, there will be a good chance that I will live there. I think the place may have a high crime rate!!
Let me know what you think of this city of brotherly love!!!

Also, does anyone know if I have my Master's degree from the United States, will it be accepted for employment consideration in the UK.
I am a physician assistant interested in moving to the UK and I am already married so that is not an option.
And how long does it usually take?
Thanks

I'd be flying from either Manchester or Liverpool (UK) and would need flights, accomodation, transport (I don't drive so it'd be public transport or taxis), as well as food and sundries.

I'm looking at going sometime in the new year and for at least a week, maybe more if there's a cheap deal going.

Are there any all-inclusive package deals available or even just 'hotel and flight' deals?

I was in Philly recently and told someone that I went to Geno's for supper. He responded by saying, "Oh, places like Geno's and Pat's are just for tourists. The REAL cheesesteaks can be found at x, y, and z locations."

Was this guy being a pompous asshole? Or was he giving good advice as to where I can find Philly's best?

Hershey Hotel is too expensive. Hershey Lodge is just barely affordable. I'm talking my Mom along who is a princess so we're not camping.

This company doesnt ship to the united states ,but they do ship to canada and other countries in the world. SO, I am wondering if there is a service that would recieve my packages and ship them to the USA.

I know this has nothing to do with the internet...not really. But im just curious if anyone out there knew.
