There are so many problems with SEPTA, I wouldn't know where to start.
One thing that annoys the hell out of me with SEPTA the most, especially since I live around one of the terminals, and goto work at another is that these bus drivers, trolley drivers, and train drivers one in a while have long layovers (at least 15 minutes) and they still start their next run at least 5 minutes late.
Although I'm a union guy, another thing that bugs me is that the drivers are so ignorant it's a shame that SEPTA doesn't have competition. The other day I got off the bus at my bus stop, after I had to scream at the driver that he was missing my stop. And I was the one hitting the stop indicator thingy. Because they have no competition, SEPTA personnel can treat you and me however they want, and can get away with basically anything.
Maybe if SEPTA had some competition, they would realize how valued their riders are and not treat us like the crap that they think we are, and as a result, we wouldn't hate SEPTA as much as we do.

Why do people answer a question they know nothing about?!? I always find that funny. I haven't been on SEPTA since I graduated high school ('91) but our transportation system is among the highest in cost in the country. It's cheaper to buy a car!
