No, but I have visited there -- It seems like a quiet, small town. I remember a friend, Jason, and I went there by car from Scaggsville, Maryland (because I was missing my Greyhound bus, so basically we were stuck for about 7 hours), it is a nice place to look at, I remember going through some tunnel, not sure what that was. And the restaurant not too far from the Greyhound station had good food. That's all I remember.
Also, I hope this website helps out:

My boyfriend lives just outside Harrisburg, in Camp Hill, PA.
Coming from New Jersey I think Harrisburg isn't a bad place but the people living there that I talk to think it is some sort of slum. Every big town has its bad neighborhoods and Harrisburg is no exception.
There are museums and the capital complex that you can visit. Hershey is about 20-30minutes away. York, Hanover, Lancaster & Gettysburg are all driveable distances away for a visit.

My two daughters live in that area. It is a small city with suburbs around. It is the capital of PA so there are lots of government offices. Variety of housing. One daughter lives in an apartment in an old part of Camp Hill, right outside the city. Seems safe and inexpensive. Other daughter has a house near Hershey,PA which is about 20-30 miles from the city.Weather has all 4 seasons. The Susquehanna River runs through the the city and can be pretty. Traffic can be a problem. What else do you need to know?
