I am thinking about taking my boyfriend on a road trip up the coast. We live in San Diego so I want to head north for a few days. Some places I had in mind where San Fran, Catalina Island, San Simeon, San Luis Obispo. Anyone have any ideas? Oh and any worth wild places to check out, like I was thinking of going Hearst Castle, any other attractions we should stop for? Everyone is giving me a cities to visit but I need attractions too. I want to take him to special places we have never been before.

I'm looking a traveling from the UK to USA (New York City) in December this year and I was wondering if somebody could point me in the right direction of where to find out what travel documents I would need? I know that I will need a passport that still has 6 months on it but I am more concerned on whether I would need a visa or not and if I do where I would apply for it. Many thanks for any help.

I live in Michigan, and my birthday is Sept 1st. I was supposed to go to Las Vegas for the weekend with my friend, but she bailed on me. I dont want to spend the weekend by myself. Where can I go closer to home that is a day or two long? I thought Cedar Point, but if anyone has any other ideas, please pass them along to me. Thanx.

I'm going to travel there with my family of total 4 people. There'll be San Francisco, LA, Las Vegas, Chicago, St.Louis.
1. Is it hard to find parking space in these cities?
2. In some cities the hotels with free parking spaces are about 20-40$ more expensive per room per night. Should I choose the expensive one with free parking space or should I choose the cheap one and find some place to park and pay?
3.I heard it's hard to drive in Chicago than many other cities because there're less direction signs. Is it true?

we live in ny. there will be about 8 of us..and we have 4-5 days on a weekend to go somewhere just to relax. were looking for a bit of partying (clubbing or bars) more relaxing in a hotel or a pool or a beach and with places to just go...somewhere within the usa (not including places as florida or california). any suggestions?

My husband and I are planning a weekend trip to Memphis, TN in October. We will only have 2 nights and 2 days so I was wondering what are the top things we should try to do/see. I really want to buy a property in American but I do not know the best state. I was in Florida this year and I loved the weather and how everything is so spaced out. But what I didn't like is that they have a lot of hurricanes, so that is what scares me with that, also the latest storms that have happened in America and the Caribbean have been not far from Florida.

I don't want to go to California as I heard there is a lot of racism there, with the gangs.

I was thinking maybe, New Mexico or upper Texas? Anyone know anything about these states and if they are good? Or any other states that I haven't mentioned?
