I am starting at the border of OR., working my way down the coast of CA. Looking for good, clean, safe places to stay that won't cost an arm and a leg...or more. They must be "animal friendly", traveling with a small well-behaved pet.

Any good ideas? Especially in the Jenner area, where I hope to spend extra time?

Whats better for beaches? Florida or california? We are looking to going on vacation next summer. Or, does anybody know of a better beach in another state?

The state of Kentucky doesn't have a professional sports stadium? Why is this I'm wondering. Our state is big enough for one. It's about time we get one, also we need more concerts of music artists to come to our State. Not just Louisville, neither. I live in Lexington, the second biggest city in the State. So Lexington, needs some love too. We need professional sports stadiums. Someone tell our Governor, or Mayor or whomever.
