Whats better for beaches? Florida or california? We are looking to going on vacation next summer. Or, does anybody know of a better beach in another state?
I'm afraid of hurricanes and tornadoes in florida, but I'm afraid of earthquakes in calif.

Does it have to be only Ca, or Fl?
Hawaii has some great beaches! Of course warm water too.
Florida beaches from what I saw, the waves were not very large. The Pacific ocean creates some very large waves. On the Pacific to surf the waves would should have a wet suit too.

California all the way! SoCal has awesome beaches, although I'm partial to NoCal where I grew up. BUT, there ARE other states with incredible beaches, too- google Best Beaches In USA.... I'll bet there is a countdown of some sort!

CALIFORNIA most definitly! I've been to both Florida and California. I've been to Florida 4 times and California once and I would still pick California. The beach there is beautiful, beyond words!

In Florida hurricane season is from June until November so maybe California would be better. I have never been to California so can't comment on that. Bon Voyage.

Florida is cool because you can drive your car or rent a four wheeler and drive on the beach. Don't know about Cali though.

come on down to florida the hurricanes do not really get started bad until september and october usually and they can be exciting

try myrtle beach in SC. its just as nice as any other beach. Florida is great too

destin, fl or st. pete, fl has the best beaches
