Salt Lake City, Utah...where they had the Olympics, as well as the lake which you can float in. Grand Canyon; Moab, Utah which has the famous Arches (I've been there when I was small and thought they were awesome)...look at the website below for more information...have fun!! My aunt and uncle used to live there (SLC) and I miss going there!

Go to Park City, it is beautiful they also have a nice night scene. http://www.parkcity.com/ ... Park city is where most of the olympics actually took places...where all the moutains are... deer valley, the canyons, PC moutain resort. You can get around pretty easy with the Bus system. Going in Jauary during the Sundance film festival is so fun. Also just in the winter there is lots of skiing, a sledding park, snowmobiling. In the summer there is hiking and biking or camping, there is a lake near by you could go boating.

Moab is a good starting place. Not too far from Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.
