I promise that once you sunbathe and swim in the nude, you'll never want to wear a swimsuit again! If I were you, I'd try a nudist club first, before you go to a nude beach, just because everyone at a club is there for the same, wholesome reason and sometimes you get people at the beaches you are just there to oggle- not something you would want for your first time. Check out the AANR website (American Association For Nude Recreation) to find a club in your area and to get first timers hints. (www.aanr.com). Have a fabulous time!

Went to a nude beach that use to be on the Gulf coast. It is closed now(a condo/resort has sprung up there).
Had no problems and there were a diverse age group present. Not many nude beaches left but if I find one I would go back,so until then I'll stick to the local nudist club/resort.

Yes i've been to several nude beaches : Blacks beach, Playlinda Beach, South Padre Island beach, San Gregorio beach, Baker beach, Orient Bay Beach, Haulover Beach
Going to a nude beach is very awesome and liberating, to be free of clothing and socialize with others while nude I will never go to a textile beach again . A nude beach is very much more relaxing and carefree because ppl have left their inhibitions elsewhere and ppl at nude beaches come in all shapes, sizes, ages, race. Ppl at nude beaches are generally very much more happy with themselves because while being nude with other ppl no one is judging your looks or body Ppls personalities are more easily discovered because no one is hiding whom they really are as a person behind unnecessary clothing We were all born nude into the world we live in our creator wanted us to be naked otherwise we would be covered with fur Nudity is Freedom in mind, body and soul for those willing to recognize the basic human existence as we were created ..

we have been. It's FUN! It's not supposed to be about looking at people, of course, but you can't help it, and you know people are looking at you, but after a while, you get over being embarrassed, since there's really nothing too sexual about it. Guys might have a ummm, "hard" time at first, but the philosophy is, that's a compliment.
Then you can just relax, work on your tan - take plenty of sunscreen! go swimming. Nudist organizations always say they prefer couples, I guess to discourage male ogling, so bring a wife, girfriend, female co-worker, even a sister or mom, the whole thing is liberating. For us girls, its also not about showing off our bodies - nudism isn't exhibitionism.

Have been many times. Its just relaxing and non-sexual for the most part. I find it a lot more relaxing and genuine that a clothed beach. Go and enjoy!

There are some in Southern California but not official. BTW if you go, don't walk around acting like you have never seen naked people before. Undress and become part of the crowd.
