If you had to eliminate one state from the union, which would it be and why? I would choose Iowa because I can only think of one city there (Des Moines), know of no important person from Iowa, and cannot think of a single important historical event that took place in Iowa. West Virginia follows closely.

I am in New Jersey and the cheapest i've seen it so far is 2.42. Although two gas stations close by were in a bidding war. It went from 2.60 to 2.00 in 3 hours!! (which is illegal) Gas stations can only change their price once per day!

i cant find an area labeled 'pit' on any seating charts for the Darien Lake PAC but i have a pit ticket. does anyone kno how big the pit is??? or if i will have to be there very early to be in the very front?

I'm planning on moving a short distance away. I've decided to hire movers because I simply can't do it myself and I can't bring myself to ask friends and family for help.

I would be perfectly fine with hiring them to move all of the heavy stuff...and then move the smaller boxes myself on my own time.

My boyfriend and my 2 kids want to move, we need to get away from our controlling families. I am looking for any advice on moving across country, how much to save up, a realistic time table, jobs and apartment advice and anything else that you think would help. Yes we do know the climate is different up there so I don't need advice in that fashion. So we want to move from Albuquerque, NM to Bangor, ME. Thanks

I asked a question on where should I move to if I go Atlanta, while the majority of people say the North is safer and stay away from the south. I looked at demographics of the area and it turns out North ATL has a higher percentage of caucasians and South has a larger population of black people. The stats for Washington D.C are also the same, the North East and South East -more blacks..deemed a high crime area... while the North WEst and South West have more caucasians and it is called safer, based on my internet research. Is this just some form of stigma for these and most other cities? Because where I live now, is deemed a high crime part of FL of course there are more blacks, but I feel totally safe and have been incident free since being here. So what's the deal?

I'm wondering if we should sell them on E bay since we live on the east coast and have no desire to go to the West coast so the value won't be there--and he can't get vacation around holidays-and these tickets can be used over Christmas Vacation-good until 9/2008- with Continental airways? What do you think, and what do you think they're worth? Is EBay the answer?
