It's about a four hour drive, listed at 243 miles. Weather might play a part in any such trip, depending on the time of year. You are driving over the Continental Divide, and conditions can be tough there.

Plus, you may get slowed because of the scenery of Glacier National Park. You won't get the full effect of the place from Route 2, but it's still a pretty drive.
