OK, my boyfriend and I have been together for 8 years in the next week. We want to go somewhere but have to stay kinda close to town (middle of SC) because of our animals (though we want to stay overnight). He really isn't a partier and does not want to go to a place like Carowinds or 6 Flags. Does anyone have a good place that we can go? We really haven't gone anywhere together, it being just me and him so I want to have a blast. Thanks!

if not the richest, because alot of people talk about loosing their jobs due to outsourcing, and downsizing, and manufacturing jobs being lost. in short massive unemployment since bush has been in office, but noooo nooo nooooo. not in chicago. houses and condos are springing up everywhere, people are driving newer cars, have nicer houses, spend alot eating out. i mean what gives? is chicago not a true representation of american posperity or lack of

Hubby and I want to go somewhere special for our next anniversary. It will be our first trip without the kids in a long time. Where is a romantic place to vacation within the Continental US? Someplace without snow! We will however, be travelling in August, so snow will probably not be an issue. Help us out here people. Thanks! We have been to Vegas (and love it), just looking for something different, where we can have some quality alone time and also have fun.

I've got a 2.5 hour layover in Denver on my way back to California from New York. I have a friend who lives in Colorado Springs, and he wants to meet me in Denver so we can go out for dinner together.

Do we have enough time to leave the airport? Or should we just get airport food?

We can only get away for 4 days at a time... I suppose we could go stay somewhere on Lake Erie - but I just wondered if anyone had any other ideas... surrounding states? I want to go on a 3-4 day backpacking trip but dont know of any good locations. I live in Utah so I am looking for somewhere relatively close (in Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, or California). I was hoping to hike somewhere between 10 and 20 miles. Any suggestions??
