Approximatley how long might it take to get from California to Texas by train?

I'm in Newcastle California, my boyfriend is taking me to meet his mom in Killeen Texas by train in May. About how long might the trip take?

According to the website, scheduled travel time is 57 hours. This does not include stopover time. Also Amtrak is notorious for being way behind schedule, so add a few hours to that for good measure.
