the ten commandments are in simple terms the 1st 10 of extra desirable than six hundred regulations given by potential of Moses in the process the Exodus (I say extra desirable than six hundred because of fact diverse people count form them in yet differently). All have an analogous weight. they start interior the e book of Exodus and proceed by using Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. some people have faith that those regulations weren't meant for -all of us-, basically for the Hebrews who have been, on the time, an exiled people wandering interior the wasteland. some cutting-facet-day Jewish scholars see those regulations as meant for a those with an identity yet and not making use of a rustic, as Jews have been for many of their existence. that doesn't propose, of direction, that they don't look to be a sturdy thought. yet to verify them as basic, foundational regulations for all and sundry perpetually could be slightly defective.

Going downhill? It's been a CESSPOOL for about the past 30 years! I'm definitely with you on this one!
Let's start with Walmart and the child labor they so diligently support! Does a seven year old belong in school or a sweat box factory so the "Walton's" can live in luxury???????
To all those Americans that think they have the "rights"- you haven't seen anything until you get the "right" to judgment day! Would never want to stand in your shoes no matter what!!!!!!!!!!
Then we can move onto all the fourteen year olds in this country touting the baby carriages! And last but not least-
Washington, DC!!!!!!!
Let's all pray for god because he'll have his hands full and his days cut out in that CESSPOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What makes you think that mythical being was ever here?
Thomas Jefferson, the author of Declaration of Independence, stated that the story of Jesus was a "myth" akin to the ancient Greek and Roman myths. He wrote his own version of the New Testament that removed all the references to the supernatural.
George Washington went to church for political purposes but stopped going when he was lectured by a minister for not paying attention (he used church to catch up on his nap time).
John Adams wrote that Christianity was the greatest "calamity" ever visited on mankind.
While many of the people who signed the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution were not Christians there was not one single fundamentalist, not even one, who signed either.
The founding Fathers were part of the movement known as the Enlightenment. As such they believed that MAN not God was the measure of all things. And as Diderot, a famous figure of that movement said, mankind would never be free to advance until the "last King was strangled with the guts of the last priest."
Anyone who thinks the Ten Commnadments has any place in American law needs to go back to school and learn the constitution. You have NO right to demand that the law require that people be religious and specifically be monotheists.
P.S. Just exactly what does this have to do with TRAVEL??

Guess what They can't take a way our 1st amendment right(I think). We have freedom of speech and Religion. If you have any problems contact Jay Seckulow. He is a lawyer that fights for our Christian rights in DC. I hope this helps. Yes God is going to take our country down because we( the government) is to afraid to stand up for what our great country was founded on. If the Christians in office would get a clue, be brave and speak out, We might be okay, and, better off. I Love Jesus Too.

Not me . Prayer in public schools is about Christians showing off and could actually be considered false piety. Christians have more than adequate time time to pray before school, there is no actual need for public prayer
If you took five minutes out of your busy life and got beyond the rhetoric you would actually discover that the Ten Commandments have nothing to do with the founding of the US Government
1) Thou shall have no God before me- not legally applicable
2)Thou shall not make graven images.....NA
3)Thou shall not take the Lords name in vain NA
4)Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy NA
5)Honor thy father & thy mother - great advice but NA
6)Thou shall not kill -universal in almost all society's with caveats included for special circumstances - war , capital punishment, otherwise NA
7)Thou shall not commmit adultery NA
8) Thou shall not steal - universal But NA
9)Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbors- borderline appicable
10) Thou shall not cover the neighbors house , wife , servants..... NA
So again which one of the Ten Commandments was America founded on ?
One more additional detail . In the not so distant past The Church did in fact own the world Do honestly believe that the people were more moral and lived better ? Not so

Who's God? The Christian God? The Muslim God? Budda? Whichever god you pick, you are going to alienate some people. I don't want anyone telling me how and where and when I should pray, anymore than you like people telling you that you need to hide your religion. And according to many people's religious beliefs, I am damned to hell (because I'm not the right kind of Christian) therefore I must be a bad person. Why should that sort of thinking be allowed in our public schools?

Why do you need God in America? If your ability to believe is that dependent on others, then you must not have a very strong faith.
Don't worry about whether others believe in God or not. It's none of your business.
Focus on actions, not beliefs. Laws should stop people from killing each other. God or no.

I have no complaint with putting God back into America, but whose God are you going to put there. The ten commandments are not relavent. We would not strive to better ourselves if we did not covet what our neighbors have and we kill in the name of peace. We don't even pray to God anymore, but to his supposed son.
