Go their favorite department store and shop until you drop! Where you ask? Wal-Mart! LOL! :~)
I hate Texas! Lived there for 7 years and hauled my @ss back North! Yee Ha isn't for everyone!
No don't go to Austin! That's where I lived! If you just have to go to Texas during Spring Break, make sure you be careful about getting caught drinking because they will lock you up. I knew quite a few people who got into trouble. But this happen down on South Padre Island. The cops walk around with bullhorns and breathalyzers even if you have 1 beer and they smell it they lock you up. Honey it is all about the Benjamins with them! Also if you're going to be sitting in a vehicle, make sure that the keys are not in the ignition. Because you'll get grief for that too!
PS: I also agree with John B. Throw rocks at the Rednecks! LMAO!

Depends on where you go. My favorite is Dallas/ Fort Worth. IF you go downtown fortworth on the weekend they walk the longhorns down the street. You can sit on a longhorn and get your pic taken, not to mention "Billy Bobs" is an awersome bar and honky tonk where they actually have a bull riding pen in the bar, awesome food, and they usually have high end country singers perform. Also along the streets of downtown they have all different kinds of little gift shops and restaurants. Its so fun!

South by Southwest music festival will be going on in Austin. You can always find good food in Fredericsburg.
