I live about 15 miles from Belton and I can name a few good ones there and also close by in the city of Temple which is only about 3 miles away from Belton.

Frank's LakeView Inn at Lake Belton the food is excellent and the view of Belton Lake is gorgeous. That is my favorite place to eat in Belton area and I highly recommend it.
Jalisco's Mexican Restaurant off of Central Ave has good Mexican food in Belton
Kevin's Family Restaurant-I haven't been there in a few years but it's well known for good food

There's a few others but if you will make the trip to Temple which is only 3 miles away there is an Olive Garden with excellent food, an Applebee's , a Chili's and that all have excellent food. Also there is a few new restaurants right at the Temple/Belton cut off with excellent food
