What are some good places for a vacation (7-14 days) with a toddler? We live on the east coast but don't mind traveling anywhere in the US.

Could it be low taxes, great job market, good schools, clean air, or the fact you can marry your sibling?

I went to Dauphin (Ithink thats the correct spelling) Island Alabama when I was a little boy but I can't remember it that well. Are there any other places on the gulf in the U.S. that could be an excellent mini vacation spot?

I live in the Metro Detroit area now. All of the jobs in this state are leaving and so am I. I don't have any relatives here so no real ties to keep me in this state. I have lots of relatives in Baltimore, plus my best friend and her son live their. It is also only 4 hours from my home state of New York. Its a win win situation for me.
What are the benefits of Baltimore over Detroit? How much money should I save up? When should I start applying for jobs? What areas should I live in to avoid hood life? Any serious advice would be appreciated!

For this, price is not too much of a concern. I'd rather pay more and not be dissappointed. Thanks for sharing any

My husband and I are thinking about moving to Kentucky. We currently live in Florida where I've lived my whole life (Except for a year and a half in Okinawa). We are looking at Bowling Green. Any helpful information about Kentucky would be GREAT!! We are tired of the high insurance and high cost of living here in FL. It's so crowded and expensive, we just cant make it here anymore.. How about the jobs up there?? My husband is currently in heating and air, which he's been in for about a year.
