We are starting out in L.A., staying Downtown.. not sure how far everything is from there and if there is much to do around. Secondly we are off to San Fran then to Vegas and finally New York where we will be for Christmas. I just want to know if I could get feedback on places to go, things to do and the weather around that time of year.

2 friends of mine and myself are looking for an "off the beaten trail" type campsite that isn't anywhere near the Wisonsin Dells. We're 15 years old(girls), and looking for a campsite (possibly non-R.V?) like Bois Brule, the campsite all three of us and our dad's went to last year on Memorial Day weekend. We all are up for a "nature adventure" so it doesn't, and proboabally shouldn't, have playgrounds, designated swim area's etc. Also, of course, we'd like it to have senic views and river/lake access. Thanks.

Im an Australian considering traveling to America at the end of the year in the university break. Im just after some opinions as to whether backpacking from say Los Angeles to New York is a good idea. Do Americans like Australians? Would it be safe? How long would it take? Just general advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Thank you

I live in northeast Arkansas. I absolutely love to road trip/travel more than almost anything. I have been to 29 states. I have not traveled in the west at all except for a trip to the Portland, OR area a few years ago.

I love visiting different states, seeing what is different, trying local food, etc etc. I want to visit all 50 states.

So here's what I want! Tell me some things that are great about your state! List your state, interesting things about it, museums, good restaurants, or anything else I should know about. Even if you're from a state I've already been to I don't mind to go back and revisit.

Thank you! Can't wait for your responses.

Holiday..... first New York for 5/6 nights, followed by Orlando or Los Angeles.... but which???
For 15 year old daughter and her father who both likes cities, theme parks, beaches and shopping. We can't decide between Orlando or LA, they want to see some big sights and famous attractions, whilst having fun in a safe environment???? At moment, I'm warming towards LA as there seems more to do and see, a bit different from JUST theme park and beaches.
Any thoughts???
Also what's LA like temperature wise at end of October?

Mall of America is in Minnesota. I am from North Jersey(Bergen County). I want to see how the New Jersey malls near me are ranked in the United States . I know that New jersey has the most shopping malls in one area in the world, with seven major shopping malls with in a 25 square mile radius. Most people in New Jersey live within 30 minutes of at least three different malls.
