I want to move to America, but people keep telling me that ill hate it coz theres so much crime everywhere. Is America like it is in the movies with people getting mugged everywhere they go? I live in Australia. Please help! :-)

the hotel is paid for hoping to see a few sights and do some shopping also will be eating out.

It is a strange thing. You have Yankees for New Englanders, as you have New Englanders for New Englanders. Massholes for Massachusettalitarians, Utahans for people of Utah, Oregonians for Oregon. In the Pacific NW my hometown we were called Moscovites...But Connecticutchinos, what of them? What should they be called...Or really those from New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine.
