A group of my friends will be going on a shopping weekend and we'd like a space that would accommodate all 6 of us in one room or adjoining rooms. Can anyone help?

Depends on where you will be in Minneapolis. If the Mall of America, there are several hotels, inculding the Country Inn & Suites that should be able to accomodate you.

Try the Staybridge Suites, they usually have a setup with a King bed or 2 doubles, then a soft bed. You could also throw in a rollaway too.
