It is a strange thing. You have Yankees for New Englanders, as you have New Englanders for New Englanders. Massholes for Massachusettalitarians, Utahans for people of Utah, Oregonians for Oregon. In the Pacific NW my hometown we were called Moscovites...But Connecticutchinos, what of them? What should they be called...Or really those from New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine.

Long enough details for ya?

The ConnectiCuttions, and I am being polite or else i would have said ConnectiCunttions and that my friend, would have been impolite. I would prefer if they were just called Cuttions. Sounds something you might buy in an Ikea. And let's face it, Connecticut is just like an Ikea, nice to look at but you wouldn't really wanna live there.

They're called Nutmeggers because it's the Nutmeg State. I grew up in CT and that's the word they used on the local news a lot. I would hear 'Connecticunts' from people from other states though.

I've also heard New Hampshirite, Vermonter and Mainer for the others.
